The next move is to check your pets and apply the same vinegar flea repellent to them. But before spraying them over with vinegar, make sure your pet has no cuts or sores.

How to get rid of flea outdoors?

Well to prevent fleas to jump from lawn on pets use Dawn Dish Soap to control fleas in the yard. Wondering how does Dawn Dish Soap works? Well, the soap will coat the fleas and it will kill them. Besides, it’s the cheap version of any chemical pesticide.

How to use Dawn Dish Soap?

You need:

  • 1 bottle of Dawn Dish Soap
  • 1.5 gallon of water

How to prepare?

Yeah, it may require many bottles of Dawn Dish soap, but the solution must be concentrated for the fleas to suffocate under the soapy coat.

So, in a 2 gallon sprayer, add Dawn dish soap and fill the rest with water. Mix well with a stick or just shake the dispenser until these 2 ingredients are well incorporated. For maximum effect you can add 200 ml of white vinegar.

How to use?

Spray each inch of your garden with this solution. Yeah, your lawn will be a bit sudsy, but it will subside until the morning.
This solution must be applied weekly for a month, and then apply it monthly for maintenance.
