For the recipe of this homemade spray, you will need the following ingredients:
– 1½ teaspoons of chili powder
– 1 quart of water
– 2 drops of liquid dish soap
– 1 clove of garlic
– 1 small onion
Let’s see how you can make this:
First off, add 1½ teaspoons of chili powder to 1 quart of water in a spray bottle.
Then, you can add two drops of liquid dish soap. This will help the spray adhere to surfaces.
Before proceeding further, make a small test on the leaves to see if there is any bad reaction.
Next, chop an entire head of garlic and add to 1 quart of hot water. Let this mixture steep for several hours and then use a cheesecloth to strain the liquid. You can now add this to the bottle too.
For even a stronger solution, make a puree out of a small onion and steep it in water for 2 hours. Then again, strain the liquid out of the pulp and mix in with the other ingredients.
You can now mix all the ingredients together and spray it onto the soil around the plants.
