Weed the garden well!
Get rid of weeds by hand then dig the soil. Pour in the spot they grow a solution made from 1 liter of vinegar with 3 tablespoons of salt and 2 liters of water. The weeds that are under the cardboard blanket won’t be able to reach the light, and the land will be cleaned in a year. The roots of the vegetables can pinch up the cardboard, making it the perfect fertilizer which will completely decay in 2 years.
